OUR STORY
A Story Shaped by Nature and Many Hands in Pune.
In 2024, while working closely with nature-led initiatives, Tanmay Jadhav began to see nature not only as a source of inspiration, but as a true teacher. A visit to Kumbharwada brought that belief into focus. Through conversations with local potters, he discovered generations of skill, patience and knowledge carried through their hands. He also saw an opportunity to bring this craft into new spaces, create meaningful experiences for people and grow alongside the potter community across Pune and Maharashtra. What began as a simple visit soon became a larger purpose—connecting people with nature, creativity and traditional craftsmanship through clay. That is how Mud & Art began.
