  • To maintain website security, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable statutory obligations.

No Unsolicited Marketing Blasts

Mud & Art does not send automated promotional email blasts, bulk marketing SMS, or unsolicited WhatsApp broadcasts. Communication from us is always directly tied to an inquiry you submitted or a conversation you initiated.

3. Consent

We collect personal information on our website on the basis of your explicit consent. Our booking, inquiry, community, and career forms require an affirmative checkbox agreement before submission.

By submitting your information, you consent to Mud & Art collecting and processing your details for the specific purpose requested. You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to mudandartstudio@gmail.com.

4. Sharing of Information

Mud & Art does not sell, rent, trade, or commercialize your personal information with external advertisers or data brokers under any circumstance.

We only share personal information in the following limited and necessary situations:

Technical Infrastructure Providers

We rely on trusted cloud infrastructure to maintain the website securely: Supabase Inc. (cloud PostgreSQL database and secure file storage), Vercel Inc. (cloud web application hosting), and Resend Inc. (transactional email notifications). These providers handle data strictly on our instructions to maintain service reliability.

Facilitators & Master Artisans

Workshop logistics (such as participant headcount, schedule, venue address, and accessibility needs) are shared with the master potters and instructors assigned to your workshop solely to deliver the experience safely and effectively.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose personal information if required to do so by applicable Indian law, judicial summons, or lawful governmental authority.

5. Payments

The Mud & Art website does not collect, process, or store financial payments or banking details.

Submitting an inquiry or request through our website does not charge any credit card, debit card, or UPI account. There is no automated payment gateway on this website. Workshop fees, travel logistics, and advance booking payments are coordinated directly with our team through formal invoicing, direct bank transfer, or mutually agreed payment channels.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We believe in minimal, transparent data collection:

  • Google Analytics 4: We use Google Analytics (Measurement ID: G-BKLRTPRY59) to monitor aggregate traffic patterns and page engagement. This tool sets first-party analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish visitor sessions anonymously.
  • Browser Session Storage: Our interactive studio assistant (Terra) uses browser session storage to preserve your ongoing conversation in the active tab. This data remains on your local device and is discarded when you close your browser tab.
  • Administrative Cookies: Secure, encrypted HTTP-only session cookies are used exclusively for authorized studio team members logging into the private administration panel.
  • No Advertising Trackers: We do not deploy Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager containers, cross-site trackers, or third-party behavioral advertising cookies on this website.

You may disable or clear cookies at any time through your browser preferences. Disabling cookies will not prevent you from browsing our website or submitting workshop requests.

7. Data Security

We maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure:

  • HTTPS and TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers.
  • Strict database access control policies with authenticated role permissions on Supabase.
  • MIME type and binary file signature verification for all uploaded career documents.
  • Continuous monitoring and automated vulnerability patches on our hosting infrastructure.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, complete workshop coordination, maintain operational records of past sessions for returning clients, or satisfy standard accounting and statutory obligations.

Career applications and resumes are retained during active recruitment cycles and archived thereafter. You may request earlier removal or deletion of your personal details from our active databases by emailing us at any time.

9. User Rights & Choices

Under applicable Indian privacy principles, you have rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Access: You may request a summary of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated details.
  • Right to Deletion: You may request that we delete your inquiry or application details from our active records.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You may revoke previously granted consent for communication at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at mudandartstudio@gmail.com. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Children's Privacy

Mud & Art conducts family workshops, school programs, and young maker clay sessions. However, our website forms and inquiry workflows are designed to be completed solely by adults: parents, legal guardians, educators, or event coordinators.

We do not knowingly collect personal contact information directly from children under 18 without verified parental or guardian consent. If you believe that a minor has submitted personal contact details on our website without authorization, please contact us immediately and we will promptly remove the information.

11. Third-Party Websites & Services

Our website includes links to external third-party platforms, such as our social profiles on Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, as well as direct chat links through WhatsApp.

When you click an external link, you leave the Mud & Art website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, data handling, or content of third-party platforms. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those external services before sharing personal information with them.

12. Changes to This Policy

Mud & Art reserves the right to update, modify, or change this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our studio practices, workshop offerings, operational workflows, or applicable legal requirements in India.

When revisions are made, the updated version will be posted directly on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date at the top of the policy. Users should review the policy periodically for changes.
